Focused Funds

Focused Funds is sponsored by The Columbus Foundation. Grants supporting various nonprofit initiatives, including community improvement, education, health, and social services, with amounts ranging from $1,000 to $25,000.

Focused Funds | The Columbus Foundation These categories are based on the interests of donors who have established funds to support a particular area of grantmaking. Based on the amount of available grant dollars each year, the majority of the grants awarded will be $1,000 to $10,000. Requests may be submitted for up to $25,000 if there is sufficient funding.

A category is listed as ‘Closed’ when all grant dollars have been committed for the calendar year. These ‘Closed’ categories are updated annually in February. Grant applications are accepted in May and October for different funding categories, as reflected below.

The Spring deadline for Focused Funds grants is the first Friday is May. The application will be available one month before the deadline. View Deadlines & Open Houses for more information.
