Food Assistance Program (FAP)

Food Assistance Program (FAP) is sponsored by Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). The Food Assistance Program, federally known as SNAP, provides monthly benefits on a Bridge Card to eligible low-income families and individuals to help them buy food. The benefits can be used for various food items at grocery stores, farmers markets, and some other retailers.
