Idahoans across the state have established a Forever Idaho fund within The Idaho Community Foundation. Each year, these funds collectively support organizations across the state taking care of our communities. You can contribute to any of the funds listed below or to set up your own fund.

Albert and Dorothy Burgemeister Endowed Fund Endowed This fund was created by Arnold Burgemeister of American Falls in honor of his parents, Albert and Dorothy Burgemeister, to support local and national charities and causes. Albert C. Pistorius Forever Idaho Fund Endowed For the benefit of North Idaho nonprofit organizations.

Albert H. and Juanita F. Huber Fund Endowed Established by this Jackpot, Nevada, couple, this fund ensures that their life-long commitment to charitable activities will continue far into the future.

Albertson's Eastern Region Fund Endowed Established as one of the challenge grants made to each of the Foundation’s three regions by the corporation, this fund was the first to be matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis and now benefits charities in Eastern Idaho. Albertson's Northern Region Fund Endowed Distributions from this challenge grant benefit charitable organizations in North Idaho.

Albertson's Southwestern Region Fund Endowed Distributions from this challenge grant benefit charitable organizations in Southwestern Idaho. Alice and John Roper Fund Endowed This fund continues the tradition of support for Idaho established by this Twin Falls couple.

Alice Hennessey Greatest Need Fund Endowed Established by ICF's Board of Directors along with colleagues and friends to honor this Boise resident's fifteen years of dedication and service to the Foundation, distributions provide ICF with the maximum flexibility to meet community needs as they change over time.

Amalgamated Sugar Company Charitable Fund Endowed The distributions from this fund are aimed at meeting the most critical needs of the state. This fund, created anonymously, distributes to the Greatest Need Funds. Anonymous Fund III Endowed This anonymous fund distributes to the Greatest Need Fund.

Archie B. Teater Fund for Children with Disabilities Endowed This fund was established with the transfer of assets—primarily artwork—from an existing nonprofit organization created at the request of the late artist. ICF continues to sell the Teater paintings in order to provide donations to the fund.

Grants benefit the needs of youth in Idaho who have disabilities. Betty Ann Diehl Greatest Need Fund for Bonner County Endowed Grants will be distributed to nonprofit organizations or educational institutions located in Bonner County, Idaho, through the North Region Competitive Grant Cycle’s recommendations to the ICFs Board of Directors.

Betty Penson Memorial Fund Endowed Created to memorialize the former Idaho journalist, distributions support various charitable organizations and projects. Bitterroot Foxfire Teachers' Network Fund for North Idaho Endowed Created by this group of North Idaho teachers, grants provide the Foundation with the flexibility to respond to changing community needs in North Idaho.

Cally Galpin Fund Endowed Created by this Ketchum resident, the fund provides support for projects that best meet the state's most pressing needs as they change over time. Carolyn Patrick Fund Endowed The fund is advised by this Emmett donor during her lifetime. Subsequently, it will become a field-of-interest fund, for projects in Gem County.

Charles Stewart Mott Charitable Fund Endowed This fund was created as a challenge grant in recognition of the importance that unrestricted giving has for a responsive community foundation. Charlotte S. Oslund Fund Endowed Created by this Boise resident to support special projects and activities for schools and libraries in communities with populations of less than 3,000.

Ms. Oslund advised on the annual beneficiaries of the fund until her passing in 2014. Grants are recommended by ICF's Regional Grants Panels. Children's Charities of Idaho Endowed Organizations throughout Idaho meeting children's needs in the areas of health, education, recreation and the arts benefit from this fund.

Claude See Celebration of Life Fund Endowed This fund was created as a celebration of life fund to honor the energy, passion, and optimism that fueled the life of Claude See. Community Trust Fund Endowed This fund was created by the Idaho Community Foundation to receive contributions from a wide range of donors. Contributors are assured that the distributions will be used in perpetuity to meet charitable needs of Idaho.

Curtis Turner Memorial Fund Endowed Established by Harry Turner to ensure recognition of his father’s contribution to the development of Twin Falls and the surrounding area, grants are made to charities in the Magic Valley. Daugherty Foundation Fund For Children Endowed Created by this Idaho Falls private foundation, distributions support organizations and programs that serve children throughout Idaho.

Trustees of the Daugherty Foundation act as advisors. Diane Brockway Charitable Fund Endowed The Fund was established to help fund non-profit organizations in Bonner County working in the areas of Education, Conservation, Affordable Housing, and Healthcare.

Don and Dolores Chapman Greatest Need Fund Endowed Established by family members Bob and Tena Lokken of Boise to honor these McCall residents' years of dedication and service to the Foundation and to Idaho. Grants will support the areas of greatest need in Valley County and Adams County. Don J.

Donald W. and Gretchen K. Fraser Fund Endowed Established through a charitable remainder trust, the fund continues the commitment of the Sun Valley couple to supporting charitable organizations that benefit Blaine County.

Doris Denney Forever Idaho Fund Endowed This Fund was created by Doris Denney of Boise to support art and Idaho history organizations in rural Southwest Idaho communities. Earl C. and Harriet Reynolds Fund Endowed This fund was created by Mr. Reynolds, in part, as a memorial to his late wife.

Distributions are dedicated to the support of charitable organizations in the Southwestern Region. Established through transfer of a trust, grants benefit the homeless and disadvantaged in Bonneville County. Idaho Community Foundation Anti-Poverty Endowment Fund Endowed Created through the conversion of a fully expendable fund created by the Northwest Area Foundation, distributions assist ICF’s efforts to alleviate poverty throughout Idaho.

Idaho Community Foundation Youth Trust Fund Endowed Established by ICF to respond to needs of disadvantaged and homeless youth between 12 and 18 years of age, the Foundation encourages gifts to this fund of any size, from any source.
