Fostering Opioid Recovery Grant - CareerSource Tampa Bay Fostering Opioid Recovery Grant Creating Pathways to Employment, Training, and Recovery Support CareerSource Tampa Bay has been awarded a Fostering Opioid Recovery Grant to provide temporary disaster-relief employment, training, and career services to eligible individuals across our community.
This initiative is designed to help individuals rebuild their lives, strengthen our workforce, and support the fight against the opioid crisis. The grant serves two categories of individuals: 1) Individuals directly affected by the opioid crisis or substance use disorder Eligible for training and employment in any career field or occupation.
2) Individuals not directly affected, but pursuing training or employment in high-demand occupations that support recovery and prevention efforts, such as: Addiction treatment and recovery service Pain therapy and management Law enforcement and public safety Medical and pharmaceutical fields Supportive roles that serve individuals in treatment and recovery Through this program, participants may access: Tuition assistance up to $5,000 dollars to Tuition Assistance and career services in recovery positions On The Job Training Opportunities in in-demand recovery positions Supportive resources to help build long-term career success If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, please complete our Pre-Screening Form linked below.
