Foundation for Armenian Youth Helping Armenian Youth since 1973. The Foundation for Armenian Youth supports a range of organizations promoting Armenian culture and cultural events targeting Armenian-American youth. The Foundation provides financial support to organizations that advance the education of Armenian-American youth - from Armenian day schools and curriculum development, to book publishing and more.
In the spirit of healthy mind and healthy body, the Foundation supports organizations and events that promote athletic competition among Armenian-American youth in a fraternal environment. The Foundation has a long history of supporting Armenian youth camps in America where their giving pillars of supporting programs of cultural, educational, and athletic impact are often addressed in a single grant.
Grant Recipient Spotlight - Camp Haiastan AYF Camp Haiastan has been a long-term beneficiary of The Foundation, receiving numerous grants over the years. Located in Franklin, MA, Camp Haiastan offers countless activities including swimming, athletics, hiking, ropes course, and boating - combined with Armenian cultural and educational programs that bond campers with their Armenian heritage. Stephen's Armenian School Another long-term beneficiary of the Foundation's support includes St. Stephen's Armenian Elementary School - primarily in support of the school's commitment to technology. Founded in 1984 in Watertown, MA, SSAES provide a unique learning environment that combines the best of American education with a strong background in Armenian culture and language.
