We are focused on finding ways to improve access to high-quality healthcare for everyone —with an emphasis on building resilience and helping underserved people and vulnerable populations. Our work We advance health equity through strategies that increase access to healthcare and eliminate health disparities for marginalized people and communities.

2026 grant opportunities The Foundation plans to hold three grant cycles in 2026, corresponding with the schedule below. Interested organizations should access the online grant portal to submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI). An LOI is a brief proposal outlining your project and its alignment with the priorities below.

We are currently accepting proposals for one-year grants ranging from approximately $10,000 to $50,000 . 2026 grant cycles LOI Deadline Application period* Notification Q2: Winter January 23 February 9 –20 Mid-April Q3: Spring April 24 May 11 –22 Mid-July Q4: Summer July 24 August 10 –21 Mid-October ## 1. Access to healthcare services for vulnerable and underserved populations.

• Direct healthcare services: Medical, behavioral, dental, etc • Indirect/support services : Traditional Health Workers, navigation, etc. ## 2. Prevention of health inequities through clinical and community-driven solutions, including interventions that advance equity and improve the health and well-being of those experiencing health disparities.

• Infant and maternal health : Home visits, developmental screening, lactation support, etc. • Early childhood and parent education : Adverse Childhood Experiences prevention, developmentally appropriate parent education, protective factors, etc. • Supportive housing : specifically focused on supportive services within a housing context (we fund programs, not capital or construction).

com Eligibility and guidelines • Organizations : Applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations or otherwise meet the IRS's requirements for a tax-exempt organization. Please inquire in advance if you are using a fiscal sponsor. Organizations must be based in or serve Idaho, Montana, or Oregon.

• Grant size and duration: While there isn’t a limit on grant request amounts, awards typically range from $10,000 –$50,000. The Foundation is currently considering one-year grant requests. We may consider multi-year projects, depending on the availability of funds.

Please note: Not all organizations that submit an LOI will be invited to complete a full application. Invitations are based on alignment with priorities and funding availability. 3.

Await notification. Application outcomes will be communicated directly with the applicant. If awarded, grant payment can take 6 –8 weeks.

A W-9 and Electronic Funds Transfer form will be requested during the grant notification process. At the discretion of the board, the foundation may periodically engage in philanthropic collaboration or invest in opportunities beyond the priority areas stated above.

We do not provide funding for the following: • Academic or medical research • Art, politics/advocacy, or faith-based causes • Capital campaigns, construction costs, and “b rick and mortar needs ” • Workforce capacity building and training: We do not fund projects that are exclusively focused on developing the workforce or providing training.
