Fruit Tree Orchard Grant

The Fruit Tree Orchard Grant is a grant from the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation (FTPF) that funds community orchards at locations where harvests will best serve communities for generations, including community gardens, public schools, city and state parks, low-income neighborhoods, Native American reservations, international hunger relief sites, and animal sanctuaries. FTPF provides high-quality fruit trees and shrubs, equipment, on-site orchard design expertise, horticultural workshops, aftercare training, and subsidized deer fencing and drip irrigation as needed. Eligible applicants are nonprofits, public schools, and government entities serving a charitable purpose with access to a viable planting site who commit to long-term care of the trees. No award amount is specified; FTPF covers orchard materials and installation costs.
