FY25 Improving Adult and Youth Crisis Stabilization and Community Reentry Program is sponsored by Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). Supports state, local, and tribal governments, as well as community-based nonprofit organizations, in fostering collaboration among criminal and juvenile justice agencies, mental health and substance use agencies, community-based reentry service organizations, and behavioral health providers.
The goal is to improve clinical stabilization and ensure a smooth transition to the community for individuals with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-occurring disorders who are involved in or reentering from the criminal or juvenile justice systems.
