FY27 Program Grants: March 2-19, 2026 The Collier Community Foundation provides program grant funding to nonprofits for programs that demonstrate measurable results in addressing community needs.

Grant dollars are invested in the following areas: Healthcare or Mental Health Submit your Program Grant Summary, a brief overview of your request : – Statement of Need (the need or problem in the community you aim to solve) – Brief Program Description (the actions your program takes to address the need) – Purpose of Funding (how the grant funds will be specifically used) -Nonprofit Financial Statement If more information is needed about your request, you will be asked to submit details and a full budget in May.

A nonprofit may apply for the following grants in this grant cycle : Either 1 Program grant or 1 Operating Support grant (but not both) 1 Capacity grant (if your budget is under $3M) Grant Request Amount : Request an amount in the range of $20,000 – $100,000 that meets the needs of your program and aligns best with your organization’s overall capacity and other support.

Type of Support : New programs, ongoing programs, or program expansions Application opens : March 2nd Award date : September 2026. Funds must be used within one year of receiving them unless otherwise specified in your grant agreement. Funding may be requested for new programs, ongoing programs, or program expansions.

Request Summary Application Nonprofit Financial Statement Form FY27 Capacity Grants for Small Nonprofits: May 1-21, 2026 The Collier Community Foundation provides Capacity grant funding to ensure that nonprofits with operating budgets of less than $3M have the tools needed to operate using best practices.

A nonprofit may apply for the following grants in this May grant cycle : Either 1 Program grant (3/1 to 3/21) or 1 Operating Support grant (but not both) 1 Capacity grant (if your budget is under $3M) Grant Request Amount : $500 – $5,000 requests will be considered and must be matched 1:1 by the organization Type of Support : Capacity-building work Application opens : May 1st Award date : September 2026.

Funds must be used within one year of receiving them unless otherwise specified in your grant agreement. We define capacity building as specific needs such as: Board development & training Infrastructure improvements Improving financial management Fundraising, marketing, and communications planning Feasibility assessment and implementation of mergers and strategic alliances Requests must provide detail on how grant dollars will be used.

Funds must be used within one year of receiving them unless otherwise specified in your grant agreement. Funding may be requested for general operating support, which includes staffing, technology, communications, administration, small capital items, materials and supplies, etc. Requests must provide detail on how grant dollars will be used.

Nonprofit Financial Statement Form Marco Island Community Grant Fund: TBD The Marco Island Community Grant Fund provides funding to nonprofits that demonstrate measurable results in addressing community needs.

Grant dollars will be invested in the following areas: -Healthcare/Mental Health Grant Request Amount: $1,000 to $15,000 Type of Support: Operations OR Programs – General operating support or program support will be provided. – Nonprofits based on and serving Marco Island are encouraged to apply.

-If you are a new applicant not based on Marco Island, please email a description of your services on Marco Island to Laura Simmelink, Vice President of Grantmaking: [email protected] – If you operate on Marco Island but are unsure if your program qualifies, please email Laura a description of your services before March 1st.

-If you have previously been approved to apply for a Marco Island Community grant, your invitation is applicable provided your services on Marco have continued. Nonprofit Financial Statement Wish List - We would love to GRANT your wish! Wish List: $500 – $5,000.

No formal application process. Each nonprofit is invited to share up to two “wishes” (your needs) on the new “Wish List” tab of the Nonprofit Directory. We share well-presented requests that align with donor interests with our donors.

Our donor advisors do not accept direct requests for funding. These wishes may be funded at any time throughout the year – we just had five wishes granted! There is no need to email, call, or check on the funding status; you will receive notification or a check if a donor advisor selects your nonprofit for funding.

We funded SEVERAL DOZEN WISHES last year! How do I report on my grant? All reporting is done through the new grant portal!

You will be notified when a grant report is assigned, and then again, two weeks before the report is due. Please use our press kit to promote your CCF grant! Guidelines for Eligibility Applicant must be a tax-exempt nonprofit organization serving Collier County, FL residents AND Applicant must be in operation and provide services for two full fiscal years and have filed a nonprofit tax return before applying for grants Applicant must meet the grant guideline criteria Applications must be relevant to Collier County Applicants must meet submission deadlines Applicants must agree to the Community Foundation’s Statement of Diversity .

Applicants must agree to report back to the Community Foundation on relevant outcomes of funding. Organizations who work directly with minors in youth-serving programs must perform background checks on staff and volunteers working with minors.

Not Eligible for Funding: Conduit organizations that fund unrelated charities Religious organizations for religious purposes Organizations not serving Collier County, Florida Grant decisions are made by community-based committees comprised of volunteers who have a background or particular interest in the program area. Community Foundation staff provide support to these committees.

Grant proposals are ranked and scored on multiple criteria by the committees. Issues such as sustainability and outcomes play a significant role in the decision-making process. We also work with Community Grantmakers who have established a Field-of-Interest Fund at the Community Foundation to support their grant program.
