Grant! We are proud to offer two grant tiers—$10,000 and $100,000—designed to support and accelerate Black-owned businesses in Kansas City, MO. Please review the eligibility and application guidelines below for both grant levels.
G. I. F.
T. Grant Application Guide Class January 2026-$10,000 Grant Due: January 6, 2026 at Midnight Business must be at least 51% Black-owned. Kansas City, MO (from 9th St.
to Bannister, Troost to Hardesty), Southeast Kansas City, Raytown, or Grandview. Must have been generating revenue for at least 3 months. Annual revenue must not exceed $1 million.
Must demonstrate potential to create jobs. Application Requirements: Detailed plan for how the grant funds will be used Documentation of business structure Recent financial statement $25 non-refundable application fee Review and Selection Process Committee review and interview Assessment of business growth plan and impact potential.
Optional access to business coaching and support services Opportunities to reapply for additional support as your business grows
