The G4X Spatial Research Challenge is designed to support ambitious studies that take advantage of multimodal spatial analysis on FFPE tissue. For researchers pursuing cohort-scale discovery , the flagship award supports a fully funded 1,000-sample study . For researchers focused on tissue architecture and three-dimensional biology , the second award track supports 3D reconstruction from serial FFPE sections .

Together, these two tracks are intended to support a broader range of high-impact studies, from large translational cohorts to spatially rich 3D tissue investigations. 1,000 Sample Spatial Study A single winning proposal will be awarded a funded 1,000-sample multimodal spatial study run by Singular Genomics on G4X. These Terms and Conditions govern the G4X™ Spatial Research Challenge described on the landing page from which you accessed these Terms and Conditions (“Grant Program”). Additional information and terms specific to the Program (“Program Details”) are available on the landing page.

By submitting an application, each Participant accepts and agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions outlined herein and the terms described in the Online Terms and Conditions, accessible at: www. singulargenomics. com/legal/terms-and-conditions-of-sale Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the Grant Program.

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to apply for or receive an award under the Grant Program. Participation in the Grant Program is open to eligible applicants affiliated with academic institutions, medical colleges, universities, research hospitals, and other non-profit or non-clinical research institutions, in each case as set forth in the Program Details and excluding vendors.

Applicants must be engaged full-time in laboratory-based scientific research and must have attained at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence, and in all events must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.

Also ineligible are: (1) residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, or any country or territory subject to U.S. embargo; (2) any persons on the U.S. government’s Denied Persons List, Specially Designated Nationals list, Entity List, Unverified List, or any similar list; and (3) any persons for whom it would be illegal to participate in the Grant Program or receive an award.

For clarity, applicants affiliated with medical colleges, academic medical centers, research hospitals, and similar institutions are eligible to participate solely in connection with bona fide non-clinical, laboratory-based research, provided that: (a) participation is permitted under the applicant’s institution’s applicable policies; (b) the application and any awarded activities are not intended for clinical use; (c) participation is not conditioned upon any business or clinical decision relating to Sponsor(s)’ products; and (d) the applicant has obtained all required institutional approvals.

The Grant Program is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or where registration, bonding, or translation is required. Applications must be submitted as set forth in the Program Details. Sponsor(s) make no guarantee with respect to the security or confidentiality of applications.

Each applicant may submit only one (1) application. Sponsor(s) reserve the right to select no more than one (1) recipient per research laboratory.

Selection of Recipients & Notifications Applications will be evaluated by a panel selected by Sponsor(s) based on scientific merit, originality, feasibility, relevance to the objectives of the Grant Program, the applicant’s ability to carry out the proposed research, and the suitability of the proposed project for research use only. The decision of the review panel shall be final and binding.

Sponsor(s) will attempt to notify selected applicant(s) by email within approximately ten (10) business days after selection. If a selected applicant cannot be reached within forty-eight (48) hours, the award may be forfeited and an alternate applicant may be selected.

Samples, data, or other materials must be for research purposes only and must not include any personally identifiable information, personal health information, or Protected Health Information. The award may not be transferred or assigned. The selected applicant may be required to return an affidavit or certification of eligibility within twenty-one (21) days.

All taxes and reporting obligations are the sole responsibility of the recipient. The applicant grants Sponsor(s) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to review, use, reproduce, and internally distribute the application solely for purposes of administering the Grant Program.

The applicant represents and warrants that: (1) the applicant meets all eligibility requirements; (2) all required institutional authorizations have been obtained; (3) participation does not violate any applicable law or policy; and (4) the application is true and correct in all material respects.

Use of Recipient’s Name & Likeness By accepting an award, each recipient grants Sponsor(s) the right to use the recipient’s name, title, institution, and project title in corporate, investor, scientific, and promotional materials. Any such use shall be truthful, non-misleading, and consistent with the recipient’s actual participation.

Publications & Presentations Research conducted under the Grant Program is expected to lead to scientific presentations and publications. The awarded applicant will present results in a joint forum co-hosted by the Sponsor(s). Results are expected to be presented at international conferences.

Indemnity, Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability The applicant agrees to release, discharge, indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor(s) from all liability for any injury, loss or damage related to participation in the Grant Program. Sponsor(s) have not made any warranty, express or implied, with respect to the prize.

Sponsor(s) are not responsible for lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, inaccurate, undelivered, delayed or misdirected entries, or for any technical malfunctions. In no event shall Sponsor(s) be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages arising out of participation in the Grant Program.

Sponsor(s)’s total liability shall in no event exceed the total value of the prize. Sponsor(s) reserve the right to suspend, modify, cancel, or terminate the Grant Program at any time. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

All claims shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California. By participating in the Grant Program, each applicant agrees to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
