Be sure to review each grant’s guidelines before applying. General Operating Support Grant Arts Education Program Grant Vibrant Communities Grant Cultural Facilities Grant ## Supporting Arts Across Georgia Georgia Council for the Arts (GCA) grants support arts projects and organizations of all kinds – big and small, new and established – across Georgia.

Each year, grants go to both first-time applicants and long-standing recipients, and all eligible applicants are encouraged to apply. Grants are supported by appropriations from the Georgia General Assembly and the National Endowment for the Arts. ### When are grant guidelines posted, and when are announcements made?

General Operating Support, Project, and Arts Education Program grant guidelines and applications are available in December, with an application submission deadline of early February. Funding announcements are made in July. Cultural Facilities and Vibrant Communities grant guidelines and applications are available in July, with an application submission deadline of late August.

Funding announcements are made in October. ### What happens if I need to change or add something to my grant application? If the deadline has not passed, the grant manager listed in the guidelines will be your best contact to reopen your application so you can make updates.

Be sure to resubmit your application before the deadline. If the deadline has passed, changes or additions to the application can no longer be accepted. ### When are grant payments made?

A grantee must submit a Contractor’s Request for Reimbursement (CRR) Form with receipts in order to receive a grant payment. Payments are only made after an applicant incurs expenses related to the project. ### What if I need to make a change to my grant project?

GCA strongly encourages grantees to contact the applicable grant manager about changes in a funded project as soon as possible to avoid any unexpected penalties. The grant manager will let you know if the grant could be impacted by any changes. ### When is my final report due?

Final reports are due 30 days after the end of the funded project. For General Operating Support grantees, that means that the report is due 30 days after the end of the funding period. ### Who are the recipients of FY27 grants?

Grant review panelists come from across the state, are selected from a variety of disciplines, and serve in a variety of roles within their communities.

Panels are thoughtfully selected to reflect diverse perspectives, regions, and organization sizes. Applications are reviewed alongside others of similar budget size to ensure fair comparisons. To learn how grantees are selected, please see the grant guidelines for each specific program.
