Administered by the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County (RAAC), these grants provide financial assistance to entities to facilitate economic development projects in Allegheny County. 2026 GEDTF Application Period Now Open The application period for GEDTF grants is open from July 13 through August 14, 2026. All applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.

Pennsylvania prevailing wage requirements, other procurement guidelines, and specific insurance requirements apply to all projects. Projects must have a total budget of at least $150,000, and awards will not exceed $500,000 per applicant. Projects should be shovel-ready, meaning prepared for immediate commencement of work.
