Genentech Health Equity and Justice Grants is a grant from Genentech, Inc. that funds bold, innovative ideas addressing barriers to quality healthcare for underserved patient populations. Through the Innovation Fund, launched in 2019, Genentech has awarded over $10 million in grants to support teams with firsthand experience with the healthcare challenges their work addresses.

Grants range from $10,000 to $500,000 and target systemic issues including underrepresentation in clinical trials, unequal access to screening and treatment, and disparities affecting Black, Hispanic, Latinx, and Indigenous communities. Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(6) nonprofits, or U.S. governmental organizations such as public hospitals and universities.
