PLEASE NOTE: Due to limited availability of these grants, priority consideration will be focused on the general New England area. ~ Distinguished Scholars Award – Neuroscience – ENROLLMENT OPEN until 11/1/2025 The dean or academic research officer of each medical school, academic hospital, or research institute located in the United States is invited to nominate one candidate for research in basic or clinical neurosciences.
Scholars will be chosen on the basis of the success in their prior post-doctoral work as well as in the importance and creativity of their continued work. The Foundation expects to make five awards in 2026.
The foundation will select recipients for awards using an objective and nondiscriminatory selection process based upon criteria including a review of each applicant’s scholastic achievements, academic records, scientific proposal and submitted letters of recommendation.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS – Neuroscience: Must have an MD, PhD, or both Must hold a post-doctoral research position at a United States medical school, research institute, or academic institution.
Must have completed a minimum of 3 years and no more than 6 years of a post-doctoral fellowship by July 1, 2026 Research focused in the field of Neuroscience Must be nominated by the Dean of the medical school or equivalent institutional senior leader Must include a nomination letter from your institution Commitment of a minimum of 75% effort Must include 3 letters of recommendation Budgets must be submitted in NIH G300 format Applicants with a Visa are allowed to be nominated with the stipulation that their Visa status must allow them to complete the award here in the United States.

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields. The K32 award supports fellows within 12 months prior to transitioning into, or within the first two years of, a postdoctoral position. The program, operated through NCI's Center to Reduce Cancer Health Disparities (CRCHD), aims to enhance the pool of qualified diverse cancer researchers. Beginning with the June 12, 2025 due date, the CURE ACE Award is available in both Independent Clinical Trial Required and Independent Clinical Trial Not Allowed versions. Eligible applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents at time of award.
Innovation Grant is a grant from the Delta Dental of Arizona Foundation that funds nonprofit organizations pursuing unique, high-impact projects that improve health and wellness in Arizona communities.
