Grants — Chautauqua Region Community Foundation The Chautauqua Region Community Foundation annually awards over $1. 5 million through competitive grant-making opportunities across a broad range of organizations and projects. Nonprofit 501 (c)(3) public organizations, municipalities, school districts and faith-based organizations located in or serving Southern Chautauqua County are eligible to apply.
All grant applications are reviewed by community volunteers and the Foundation’s Board of Directors The Community Foundation hosts several grant opportunities during the year, an overview of each can be found here. For more information and grant guidelines, click below. Supports emerging needs and one-time costs, such as purchases for program/service enhancement and modest capital improvements.
Open to faith-based organizations. Due: Bi-monthly; last Wednesday of even months Supports programming, operating, and capital improvement projects that seek to address a community need or deliver broad community benefit. Supports large scale programming or capital projects that address documented community needs or deliver significant economic impact.
Due: Pre-Applications due December 1; full applications by invitation Supports emerging needs and one-time costs, organizations serving Falconer, Kennedy, Ellington and Randolph NY communities.
