General Operating Support / Program/Project Support is sponsored by The Rose Hills Foundation. Supports qualified tax-exempt charitable organizations in Southern California, with an emphasis on those based in and serving Los Angeles County.

How to Apply - The RoseHills Foundation The Rose Hills Foundation is a responsive grantmaker and we accept applications any time. There are no deadlines or grantmaking cycles. If after reviewing our Funding Guidelines and FAQs you believe your organization fits within the Foundation’s current funding priorities and interests, please follow the login instructions below.

The Foundation is not accepting capital requests at this time. Please note that all grantees, whether new or returning, are required to take a short quiz to ensure eligibility to receive grants from the Foundation.

If the Foundation determines from the eligibility quiz that the request fits within the Foundation’s current funding priorities and interests, the organization will be provided with instructions to prepare and submit an online application. From time to time, the Trustees may elect to support non-profit organizations of special interest which are within the Foundation’s broad charter.

Grants to large medical institutions, K-12 schools, private, independent colleges and universities in California, Cal State Universities, or other higher education institutions, are initiated by the Trustees. Unsolicited proposals from these types of organizations are not accepted. If your organization has previously received a grant from the Foundation, please follow the steps below.

Please notify us via email of any significant leadership changes (CEO, Executive Director, Co-Executive Director only) at your organization that occur at any time during the grant process. Failure to do so can result in a grant request being withdrawn, a grant award being rescinded, or if a multiyear grant, second payment rescinded.

First-time applicants are not eligible to receive a multi-year grant; the Foundation accepts multi-year requests from return grantees only (limited to two years of funding).
