Genesis EiR Grant is sponsored by Government of India (via various incubators). This grant offers funding to startups in Tier-II and Tier-III cities in India. It is open to a range of sectors, including PropTech and real estate services, making it a potential opportunity for property listing websites.

The GENESIS EIR Programme would provide subsistence grant upto to Rs.

10,00,000 per year to an aspiring or budding entrepreneur of considerable potential for pursuing a promising technology business idea. Amrita TBI is a non-profit startup incubator supported by Govt. of India and Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham that funds, mentors and nurtures ideas, startups and entrepreneurs.

In 2017, Amrita TBI received the National Award for being the Best Startup Incubator in India. Amrita TBI is listed among the Top-5 most prolific startup incubators in the country by The Economic Times. Total Grant upto Rs.

1000000 Extended Deadline: November 10, 2020 Submission Deadline: September 3, 2026 MeitY Startup Hub GENESIS EIR MeitY Startup Hub, Government of India has envisaged an umbrella scheme called GENESIS (Gen-Next Support for Innovative Startups) with a budget of Rs.

490 Crores for 5 years to discover, support, grow and accelerate successful startups in Tier-II and Tier-III cities with emphasis on collaborative engagement among startups, government, and corporates for promoting digitization based on the principals of inclusivity, accessibility, affordability, leading to growth in employment and economic outputs. Amrita TBI will implement the GENESIS scheme on behalf of MSH.

This scheme envisages further scaling up and sustaining the tech ecosystem especially to discover, support, grow and make successful startups. The program envisages impacting and consolidating 10,000+ tech start-ups over the course of the next 5 years to pave the road for an inclusive startup ecosystem. MeitY Startup Hub GENESIS EIR Support the early-stage startups with funding up to Rs.

10 Lakhs without any matching fund requirement. 1) Startups will receive a grant of upto Rs. 10,00,000/-.

2) You will be given mentorship and handholding for activities related to mentoring sessions, market/customer connect, IPR support, fundraising support, and support needed by the start-up for scaling. The MeitY Startup Hub GENESIS EIR support recipient (EIR) will be eligible for a grant of a maximum of Rs. 10,00,000/- in a year.

Amrita TBI will evaluate the applications according to the guidelines set by MeitY and MSH. MeitY Startup Hub GENESIS EIR will be monitored very closely for the targeted milestones and is required to submit the progress report furnishing the same as and when needed. Non-Performing MeitY Startup Hub GENESIS EIRs will be terminated even before the completion of 12 months.

This funding is subject to your commitment and performance.  ● The applicant must be an Indian citizen.  ● The entrepreneur must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

 ● The applicant must be a first-generation entrepreneur and committed to working full-time on the proposed startup idea during the EiR program duration.  ● The startup should be in the ideation, validation, or very early stages.  ● Must not have received significant external funding (exceeding ₹10 lakh, including government grants).

● The proposed startup/idea should align with the overarching goals of the GENESIS Scheme ❖ Electronic design and manufacturing ❖ Deeptech software and products ❖ Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML) ❖ Internet of Things (IoT) ❖ AR / VR / Spatial and Immersive Technologies 3.

Scalability and Impact:  ● The startup must have the potential for scalability and create a measurable impact, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.  ● If the startup is already incorporated, it must be registered as a Private Limited Company, and LLP under applicable Indian laws. ● The entity must not be older than 2 years at the time of application.

 ● The startup idea must be original and not involve duplication of existing products/services or any form of plagiarism. 6. EiR support will be extended only once under GENESIS.

Funding and Financial Eligibility 1. No Prior Funding Obligations:  ● The applicant or startup should not have already received significant private or government funding for the same idea.  ● Startups that have availed of government support under other schemes for the same concept may not be eligible.

 ● The entrepreneur must demonstrate a clear and actionable plan for utilizing the EIR support (e.g., prototype development, market research, or customer Alignment with GENESIS Objectives 1. The proposed startup/idea should align with the overarching goals of the GENESIS Scheme:  ❖ Promoting technology-led entrepreneurship.  ❖ Creating jobs and fostering regional innovation hubs.

 ❖ Supporting sustainable and inclusive economic growth. 2. The applicant must agree to actively participate in all mentorship programs, workshops, and other activities organized under the EIR program.

1. Individuals currently enrolled in other full-time incubation/entrepreneurship schemes or programs, unless permitted by both programs. 2.

Startups involved in unethical, illegal, or non-compliant business activities. Yellow Messenger has created a conversational AI- driven platform to solve the problem of poor customer experiences made for customer support globally by developing a voice bot. The founders had deployed the voice bots for over 700 companies including Amazon as their potential customer.

The funds will be used to upgrade their existing technology and establish their presence in the U. S market. MiQasa Home Automation Pvt.

Ltd. Tendulkar backed Smartron buys Amrita TBI startup MiQasa. MiQasa was a winner of "The Emerging Tech Startup of the Year 2017 Award" by Entrepreneur Magazine India. Miqasa Home Automation was also a winner of Amrita TBI Pitchfest 2017 and was listed among "Top 42 Fundable Startups in India" by the India Fund Fest 2017.
