Among the projects we help fund, we also allocate dollars directly for seminaries, college or graduate school scholarships. We are honored to assist bright minds in the Georgia Baptist tradition. Who can apply for scholarship funds To qualify for the scholarships, you must be an active member of a Georgia Baptist church.
Undergraduate scholarship requirements differ based on the type of scholarship and financial aid office guidelines. Seminary scholarships are offered to Graduate-level students enrolled in 6 or more credit hours per semester. All scholarships managed by the Georgia Baptist Foundation must be applied for through the financial aid office of your educational institution.
Georgia Baptist Foundation does not review or select scholarship applicants. Select your institution to be directed to available scholarships, or to contact your financial aid office for more information. The Georgia Baptist Foundation looks forward to supporting any Georgia Baptist resident called into the Gospel ministry with a seminary scholarships.
Students enrolled full time pursuing a Master’s degree or higher missions or ministry degree at one of our Southern Baptist Seminaries is eligible for scholarship. For more information, contact the financial aid office at your seminary.

These scholarships are awarded by the financial aid offices at each institution and follow requirements of individual trusts and guidelines issued by the Foundation. For more information, please contact the financial aid office at your college or university.
Truett McConnell University Employee Scholarship Program The Georgia Baptist Foundation is honored to offer a scholarship to dependents of full time Georgia Baptist Mission Board employees. Eligible students must be enrolled full time in an undergraduate program at any accredited college or university. The Foundation emails applications to all qualifying employees in April of each year.
After receiving all applications, we notify scholarship recipients of the amount of the award in July. There are three ways we can create scholarships for students attending a Georgia Baptist or Southern Baptist college, university, or seminary: Establish your own scholarship fund.

The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama. Applicants must be public school systems submitting on behalf of schools with K–12 students. The grant supports the purchase of robotics equipment and program development aligned with AMSTI guidelines. Applications are submitted online through the AMSTI Robotics Grant portal. The Fiscal Year 2026 application deadline was September 30, 2025. Questions should be directed to robotics@amsti.org. The program is managed by the Alabama State Department of Education under State Superintendent Eric G. Mackey.
