Kickstart Your Business Today ! We are a student-managed venture capital fund that invests in student-run businesses. We write $500 - $10,000 checks to student founders at the University of Georgia, and all students are eligible to apply !
We provide both financial and human capital to student founders at the University of Georgia, and provide an unparalleled experiential learning opportunity to members of the fund. We aim to promote the University of Georgia and greater Athens community as a hub for entrepreneurship on a regional and national scale. We maintain 3 grant types, for every step of your entrepreneurial journey.
For businesses that know there's a need and are looking for funding to create the solution For businesses with revenue or businesses that have gone through an accelerator $1,000 - $5,000 available For previous Regular Grant recipients, with demonstrated growth $5,000 - $10,000 available Full Eligibility Requirements Kickstart is more than a grant - it is a gateway to future success.
Kickstart founders regularly go on to raise additional grants and equity funding, and have received follow-on equity investments from many venture capital funds (including Mark Cuban!) Kickstart founders are also encouraged to get in volved in the UGA ENTR community and use the resources available!
