ai/virtualadvisor Georgia Student Finance Commission Public Service Memorial Grant HOPE & State Aid Programs / Scholarships and Grants / Eligible Colleges and Universities Application Procedure and Deadline Public Service Memorial Grant The Georgia Public Service Memorial (GPSM) Grant provides grant funds to be used towards the cost of attendance, while enrolled in an undergraduate or Graduate program of study, at eligible colleges, universities or technical colleges in Georgia.
Eligible Students Include: Spouses and children of Georgia Public Safety Officers (law enforcement officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, highway emergency response operators (HERO) and prison guards) who were permanently disabled or killed in the line of duty.
Spouses and children of qualifying Public School Employees who were killed or permanently disabled due to an act of violence while the Public School Employee was performing his or her employment duties.
