Georgia Special Needs Scholarship # Georgia Special Needs Scholarship The Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (GSNS) program provides scholarships for qualifying Georgia public school students with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or a 504 Plan in specified areas during the previous school year who meet the requirements to qualify for an award.
These scholarship funds may be used to offset the cost of attending a private school that participates in the scholarship program. ## 2026-27 Scholarship Calculator Now Open! The Scholarship Calculator is now available for accessing student award letters for the 2026-27 school year.
Use the link below (#3 in the Information for GSNS Families section) to access the calculator. ## IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR FAMILIES If you are unable to locate your student's scholarship award in the calculator, please submit a Parent Inquiry Form using the link below (#11 in the Information for GSNS Families section). Inquiries are answered in the order in which they are received.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SECTION 504 STUDENTS: Please note that if your student is not appearing in the calculator but meets eligiblity for GSNS based on services received under a Section 504 Plan, you should submit a Parent Inquiry Form.
