Parks for All Action Grant Framework in Action Grant Community Rink Affordability Grant School Playground Equipment Grant School Playground Equipment Grant Funded by the Government of Saskatchewan and administered by SPRA, the School Playground Equipment Grant program provides up to $50,000 in matched funding will be available for schools to build a new playground or update existing equipment.

ca . Eligibility Guidelines: Coming Soon The Training Grant aims to enhance local skills and qualifications by supporting recreation and parks volunteers, and staff in accessing training. This grant provides funding for skill development in areas critical to the effective management or delivery of services, programs and facilities.

Eligible training may include certifications or courses related to facility operations, program development, safety standards, evaluation practices, resource management, or facilitation. Training Grant is open August 26, 2026 and closes June 1, 2027.

Grant Guidelines: Download Parks For All Action Grant The Parks for All Action Grant is a commitment to the national Parks for All Action Plan and aims to support efforts that achieve the Parks for All Vision. Efforts can be local, regional or provincial in scope. Applications should highlight how people will be engaged, and the long term benefits that are expected.

The Vision is: Connected Canadian park lands and waters that support healthy nature and healthy people in harmony for generations to come, backed by an active, diverse parks community that cultivates shared goals, mutual respect and collective action.

Grant Guidelines: Coming Soon Framework in Action Grant The Framework in Action Grant aims to support SPRA member initiatives that advance the goals and priorities identified within The Framework for Recreation in Canada 2015 – Pathways to Wellbeing . Initiatives will show alignment with one (1) of the goals of the Framework and can be local, regional or provincial in scope.

Grant Guidelines: Coming Soon The Get Moving Grant aims to support initiatives that advance the areas of focus identified within A Common Vision for Increasing Physical Activity and Reducing Sedentary Living in Canada: Let’s Get Moving (or, the Common Vision). Initiatives will align with one of the areas of focus of the Common Vision and can be local, regional, or provincial in scope.

The Common Vision is a new, collective way forward that will guide the country towards ways of increasing physical activity and reducing sedentary living. It is a national policy document that is intended to move the country. Grant Guidelines: Coming Soon Community Rink Affordability Grant Skating and curling rinks are integral to the creation of vibrant, active, and connected communities in Saskatchewan.

Administered by SPRA on behalf of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Community Rink Affordability Grant is intended to support communities and organizations with the operating costs of indoor ice surfaces. A grant of $5,000 will be available per ice surface to help offset the expenses for eligible indoor skating and curling rinks for the 2025-2026 operating season. Applications for this grant are now closed.
