$250,000 in catalytic funding to prototype and demonstrate progress Six months of cohort-based technical support from OpenAI engineers and advisors API credits and peer learning with a network of leading practitioners and funders Eligibility for additional scaling capital from partner funders The opportunity to showcase work at a Demo Day. Across our latest cohort, organizations are applying AI in practical ways to expand access to opportunity, from improving how people find and use essential services to helping them navigate education, benefits, and the workforce.
Recent grantees are already demonstrating what this looks like in practice: Ask Aya , developed by the National Domestic Workers Alliance , provides personalized legal guidance and negotiation support to domestic workers, helping a historically excluded workforce access protections and improved working conditions. Moms First launched PaidLeave.
AI to help parents navigate paid leave and public benefits, unlocking thousands of dollars in support many users didn’t know they were eligible for. The Community Economic Defense Project provides renters with real-time legal guidance and automated court filings using their solution, HousingLegalAdvice. AI , to ensure more families stay housed and avoid the long-term costs of displacement.

Casey Foundation and the Ballmer group to invest more than $10 million across more than 50 organizations and projects, making it one of the most active philanthropic funds deploying capital at the intersection of AI and economic mobility.
The fund is estimated to unlock over $1 billion in additional lifetime earnings for the communities served and will surface evidence for how AI can drive equitable economic mobility. Additional funders are invited to help source, review and support these innovative solutions.
