CQI is celebrating its 30 th anniversary in 2026. To mark the occasion and reaffirm our commitment to our mission - to improve coffee quality and the lives of the people who produce it - CQI will commit up to $300,000 through its Global Coffee Fund and catalyze an additional $200,000 of investment to benefit coffee-growing communities at a time when governments around the world have scaled back funding for overseas development.
View our 2026 prospectus . In 2026 CQI’s Global Coffee Fund will invest in coffee quality through support to two distinct programs, Project Awards and a Matching Grants . As has occurred over the previous two years, CQI will commit up to $100,000 in 2026 to fund projects that enhance access to coffee education and promote the development of educators.
Projects are expected to strengthen the capacity to improve coffee quality and the lives of producers. CQI is also launching the Matching Grants program which will commit up to $200,000 for co-investment with partners who support CQI’s mission and values and would like to leverage our work to double their investments to improve the coffee sector.
CQI will provide a dollar-for-dollar match for the first $200,000 of external investment in qualifying projects up to $50,000 per activity. These two programs will allow CQI to build partnerships with greater reach and impact by leveraging additional resources and through activities designed to enable the organization to best fulfill its mission.
