Danielle mountain bikes Utah’s White Rim Trail, Anna hikes Washington’s Mount Baker and skis down and Josh white water rafts the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho.

Paul crafts a beautiful film about the challenges, logistics and camaraderie involved in these adventures for spinal cord injury athletes. When Steve Hodges, Craig Stein and Hawkeye were plotting in 2013, theirs was a rogue and disruptive approach to philanthropy ... I can’t thank GoHawkeye enough for helping me get this handcycle.

A CarbonBike is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and now every time I see it, I’m reminded that you guys believed in me enough to make it happen. It’s more than just a handcycle, it’s a push forward in my life and in my sport. I’m truly grateful...

Experienced and Professional Team Members People Choose Us For Our ... 2025 signaled the completion of GoHawkeye’s 11th year supporting adaptive sports. That year we helped 12 adaptive athletes with grants totaling $41,000.

These grants ranged from $1,000 to $5,000 for road handcycles, off-road handcycles, sit skis, archery equipment, handcycle bike rack, tennis, basketball and sport wheelchairs. Our grantees hailed from ten different states; MN, FL, MI, UT, PA, MT, AZ, NC, VA and ME! Since our inception in 2014, we have helped 155 adaptive athletes and 10 organizations with grants totaling $450,000.
