Organizations dedicated to supporting young people ages 12–24, such as Boys and Girls Clubs , libraries, parks and recreation centers, and other community-based organizations are eligible to apply. What Is the New York Youth Safe Spaces Grant?
New York’s Youth Safe Spaces initiative is designed to provide safe, welcoming environments where young people can build positive relationships, access community resources, and develop advocacy skills. With up to $500,000 per year (Option 1) or $250,000 per year (Option 2) available annually for five years, this grant allows organizations to create or enhance spaces that are youth-led, culturally responsive, and non-clinical.
