Special consideration is given to charitable organizations that serve the needs of children or the disabled. The Grace Bersted Foundation specifically serves the people of DuPage, Kane, Lake and McHenry counties in Illinois. The deadline for application to the Grace Bersted Foundation is June 1.
In general, applicants to the June deadline will be notified by September 30. Applicant organizations must have an office located in 1 of the following counties: DuPage, Kane, Lake or McHenry. Because requests for support usually exceed available resources, organizations may only submit 1 application to 1 of the following foundations within the same calendar year.
