USD 60,000 in FY 2025) Eligibility: Must be a registered local/international NGO, local government body, educational or medical institution. Individuals and profit-making institutions are not eligible.
Closing Date: Thu 31 Jul, 2025 Projects to improve grassroots welfare, particularly in primary education, primary healthcare, poverty relief and support for orphans, people with disabilities and women.
Anti-Racism Arts and Culture Diversity and Inclusion Education and Skills Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment Health Human Rights Policy and Campaigns Sustainable Livelihoods Volunteering Matthews Wrightson Charity Trust Location: UK and overseas. Eligibility: UK-registered charities or individuals in the UK preparing for charitable work.
Excludes large charities (income over £300,000), fabric maintenance, animal charities and personal education. Climate Change and Environment John Ellerman Foundation – UK Overseas Territories Fund Location: Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Gibraltar, St Helena, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Montserrat, Turks & Caicos, Falkland Islands.
Other Territories may also be considered Eligibility: UK-based charities or Territory-registered charities with appropriate governance structures. NGOs in Territories with minimal local governance (e.g. Falkland Islands) must apply through a UK-registered charity.
