We invite eligible organizations to apply for funding for initiatives that are aligned with our disease areas of interest: Transthyretin-mediated Amyloidosis (ATTR amyloidosis), Acute Hepatic Porphyria (AHP), and Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 1 (PH1). Projects should enable education, address unmet needs, elevate the standard of care, focus on ongoing research, or address other relevant community needs.

Please note that activities must be compliant with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Below, please find details of the process of applying for funding and the different types of requests available at Alnylam.

Support to registered charitable organizations to advance science, healthcare, education, or other genuine charitable purposes For questions about charitable donations, please contact CSR@alnylam. com Alnylam reviews funding applications regularly, with educational grants considered through a formal, monthly process and sponsorships, charitable donations, and collaboration on a rolling basis.

Applicants should ensure that funding applications are submitted well in advance of when funding may be needed (with a minimum of 45 days). While Alnylam seeks to support the many requests we receive annually, not every request can be approved and some requests may be funded at a lower amount than what was requested.

Regardless of the outcome, Alnylam is committed to providing timely communications for each application and decisions will be shared upon completion of review. We request that submissions are made electronically through our funding portal which is in English. If you have difficulty submitting your application in English, please contact our Grants and Giving office at grants@alnylam. com for further guidance.

Funding request must be submitted at least 45 days prior to the start date of the activity or program Support may only be provided to eligible organizations or entities; individual recipients may not apply for nor receive funding Proof of tax status must be valid and government-issued. If a request is incomplete or more information is requested, our Grants and Giving Office will contact you and ask for further information.

Please try to respond with the missing information as timely as possible. CME and non-CME grant requests are reviewed by the Alnylam Grant Review Committee on a monthly basis (this includes applications by Patient Advocacy Organizations) All other types of funding are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Funding decisions will be communicated via an email from the electronic portal Funding requests are not considered final until the execution of a ‘Letter of Agreement’ with Alnylam.

(CME and non-CME Grants only) A reconciliation of grants must be completed within 90 days of the activity or program end date Any funds that are not used must be returned to Alnylam Failure to complete a reconciliation and/or return unused funds may jeopardize the review of future funding requests from the requesting party.

At this time, Alnylam supports the following types of funding: Funding provided to support educational clinical programs within healthcare academic organizations in a given area of interest.

Alnylam is independent from the selection of the individual Fellow, and the educational institution requesting the funding must demonstrate that it has the infrastructure, expert faculty, curriculum, and ability to design and conduct a successful fellowship program.

Area of Educational Interest A Clinical Fellowship Grant is intended to support clinical fellowship programs that mentor and advance the training of physicians in the diagnosis, treatment, and research of Transthyretin (ATTR) Amyloidosis.

The program will foster multidisciplinary collaboration to improve early recognition, optimize treatment pathways, and accelerate the translation of emerging science into high-quality, patient-centered care.

Submission Deadline: August 28, 2026 Notification Date: September 11, 2026 Fellowship Start and End Dates: July 2027 to June 2028 Therapeutic Area: Transthyretin-mediated Amyloidosis (ATTR Amyloidosis) Geographic Scope: United States Funding Availability and Requirements Individual applicant institution may request up to $95,000 USD that will be considered for funding a one-year clinical Fellowship Program Funding may only be used to support salary and Fellow benefits Grant funds must not be used for institutional overhead or indirect costs Applicant Institution Requirements Must be an ACGME-accredited U.S. academic institution Applicant institution must have an established and active Cardiology Fellowship Program that includes educational interactions with an interdisciplinary team in review of cases and relevant training in ATTR Alnylam must not be notified of the name of any potential Fellow during the application process Grant funds will be awarded to the institution and not to any individual Must execute the Letter of Agreement with Alnylam before the start of the Fellowship Program Program and Fellow Requirements Applicant institution must ensure that the selected Fellow is a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident Applicant institution must ensure that the selected Fellow holds an active M.

license in good standing Application must include the details of the Fellowship Program, including but not limited to, a curriculum that includes: Training opportunities with multi-disciplinary teams, Clear methodology for increasing skills and competencies of Fellow, as well as effective monitoring and assessment or the methodology, Fellow engagement in both clinical care and research and/or lab activities, and Alnylam does not provide Fellowship Grants for the following activities: Grants or payments to individuals, e.g., HCPs or physician group practice organizations; Organizations or charitable foundations nominated by an HCP; Fees for the engagement of HCPs or healthcare organizations to provide services; Organization building funds or equipment; Website development, promotional programs, religious or social programs, grants to political parties, social events, or charity fundraising; Research or clinical studies; and Medical missions to foreign countries and travel grants to US HCPs to attend scientific conferences.

Alnylam may request supplemental information from applicants, and Alnylam reserves the right to reject incomplete applications. Alnylam reserves the right not to fund any request. No grant has been awarded until a formal grant agreement has been fully executed between Alnylam and the applicant organization(s).

Application do not commit Alnylam or its affiliates to award a grant of any size, nor to pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this request. Alnylam adheres to all applicable U.S. and state spend transparency laws, codes, and regulations, and, as a result, will appropriately report funding related to this grant, when and as required.

Alnylam may require receipt of required information in a certain format from recipient organization(s) in order to facilitate disclosure reporting. Alnylam reserves the right to verify all information provided by an organization in its grant application. Only the Alnylam Grants and Giving Office is authorized to provide information related to any clinical fellowship applications.

For questions, please contact grants@alnylam. com Continuing Medical Education Grants (CME) These are educational activities developed and executed by independent third party organizations to maintain, develop, or increase the knowledge, skills, and professional performance that a healthcare professional uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession.

A CME grant is an unsolicited funding request that may be accredited or non-accredited. Alnylam may not receive any tangible business benefit. Transparency of Alnylam’s support is required and is not considered a tangible benefit.

Examples might include a live program at a medical conference or an online educational session for CME credit.

Educational Grants (non-CME) This is funding that is provided in response to an unsolicited request from an eligible third-party organization that has independently applied for grant support for accredited or unaccredited medical education activities or education directed to HCPs, patient organizations, patients, or other members of the health care community. Alnylam may not receive any tangible business benefit.

Transparency of Alnylam’s support is required and is not considered a tangible benefit. Examples of a non-CME Educational Grant might include educational videos or newsletters.

Responses to Requests for Proposals Throughout the year, Alnylam will post Request for Proposals (RFP) to inform organizations and qualified medical education providers that we are interested in receiving requests for independent medical education activities pertinent to Alnylam’s areas of interest and aligned to specifications outlined in our RFPs.

The grantee is responsible for the design and execution of the initiative supported by the grant, including compliance with any regulatory requirements. Alnylam may not receive any tangible business benefit. Transparency of Alnylam’s support is required and is not considered a tangible benefit.

When Alnylam receives a tangible business benefit for an event, project or program aimed at educating patients, caregivers, scientists, or healthcare professionals, this is considered a sponsorship. Examples of sponsorship might include (but are not limited to): corporate memberships, patient advocacy conference support, advertising opportunities, exhibition booths or satellite symposium time slots.

A Collaboration is an activity or project undertaken by Alnylam alongside one or more external organization(s) that provides an opportunity for each party to contribute particular expertise or services or that will enable more effective and efficient delivery of a program or services than if each party were to work alone or separately.

This collaborative effort includes, but is not limited to, jointly developing and agreeing upon a set of common goals and direction, sharing the risks and responsibility for obtaining those goals, and working together to achieve those goals, using the expertise and resources of each Collaborator.

Alnylam may provide monetary or in kind support to charitable organizations to advance science, healthcare, education, or to further other charitable organization goals. Charitable Donations may be used for philanthropic initiatives or general purposes that support the overall mission of the organization, for example, providing funding after a natural disaster.

Alnylam may not receive any tangible business benefit for charitable funding. Transparency of Alnylam’s support is required and is not considered a tangible benefit.

Disease Areas Of Interest Transthyretin-mediated Amyloidosis (ATTR amyloidosis) Increase knowledge of ATTR amyloidosis including: The multisystem burden of disease in both hereditary* and wild-type patients, including extracardiac manifestations such as gastrointestinal, renal, musculoskeletal, and mixed phenotype in wild-type ATTR Early recognition and diagnosis of disease within various scenarios of a patient’s journey Diagnostic testing modalities including, clinical assessments, laboratory biomarkers, imaging, genetic testing, counseling and implications for broader family Evolution of disease management and treatment decision making in various clinical scenarios based on up-to-date evidence (including real world data) and clinical guidelines, including: Optimal evidence-based treatment selection and sequencing according to: mechanism of action (including the novel concepts in disease pathophysiology, such as TTR dissociation and cleavage pathways) clinical trial data including patient relevant outcomes biomarker and imaging data data in cardiac and extra-cardiac manifestations safety, adherence, and tolerance evolving concepts regarding progression and regression of disease based on various criteria including, but not limited to, biomarkers/imaging Real world clinical assessment of key markers of disease progression and treatment response Quality improvement and implementation of best practices within a multidisciplinary framework (including cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, nephrology, etc) to improve both diagnosis and management, including use of published implementation science work *with focus on the predominant variant in geography where education is targeted, for example V122I in the United States.

Acute Hepatic Porphyria (AHP) Increase knowledge of AHP including: The multisystemic nature, chronicity and clinical presentation of the disease and the implications for multidisciplinary diagnosis and management Early recognition and diagnostic process, including ordering, interpreting, and evaluating biochemical and genetic tests for diagnosis Management and treatment of acute hepatic porphyria, including burden of disease and patient experience Primary Hyperoxaluria Type 1 (PH1) Increase knowledge of PH1 including: The utility of genetic testing in the diagnosis of kidney disease and subsequent impact on patient management and clinical outcomes Improve knowledge of clinical practice recommendations in PH1 diagnosis, management, treatments, and clinical outcomes Improve understanding of the prevalence of PH1 across various regions and ethnic groups.
