High Fives Foundation – Empowerment Fund Provides resources and inspiration to people with life-altering injuries such as spinal cord or brain injuries, amputations, or other mobility-limiting conditions. Offers assistance for materials like durable medical equipment or services such as home modifications for accessibility. Does not provide cash assistance.
Supports veterans severely injured in the line of duty by providing tools, therapies, and guidance. Operated entirely by combat veterans. Athletes & Sports Equipment Challenged Athletes Foundation – Grant Program Provides funding for adaptive sports equipment like sports wheelchairs, handcycles, mono skis, and prosthetics.
Also helps with training and competition costs for people with physical challenges. High Fives Foundation – Empowerment Fund Supports people with life-changing injuries such as spinal cord or brain injuries, amputations, or other mobility challenges. Grants are available in four main areas.
IM ABLE Foundation – Programs Gives grants to people with disabilities for hand-cycles, adaptive athletic gear, and training programs. Helps kids and adults stay active and enjoy the outdoors. Move United – Member Organization Grants Offers grants to support adaptive sports programs for youth, veterans, and education/training.
Nearly $1 million is given each year to local chapters. Semper Fi & America’s Fund Helps veterans and their families with financial needs during recovery. Offers support for housing, transportation, education, and more.
VA Adaptive Sports Grant Program Run by the National Veterans Sports Programs and Special Events Office, this program supports veterans through adaptive sports and arts.
