Charitable Grant Application - Bryon Riesch Foundation Charitable Grant Application Charitable Grant Application jloberger 2026-06-18T22:51:56+00:00 Charitable grants are reviewed quarterly in January , March , June , and September . Request should be for a specific item. Requests from Wisconsin residents are given priority but are not limited to the state.
To apply for funding please fill out the application below. Because of the high number of grant requests that we receive you will only be notified if you receive a grant. Eligibility Requirements for Individual Grants: Applicants must suffer from a spinal cord injury or spinal cord related disorder.
Applicants must demonstrate financial need and may be required to provide documentation. There is no age requirement. Applicants must be a resident of the United States.
Applicants must request specific modifications or equipment to apply for a Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation grant; requests for “anything you can give” will not be considered. Partial Payments toward larger items- will not be considered unless all payments are already in place for the total amount. For example, if requesting $7,000 towards a $15,000 van conversion, you must have already obtained $8,000 to complete the transaction.
We do not fund vehicles. Examples of eligible items include upgrade and maintenance of wheelchairs, vehicle modifications (i.e., hand controls or lifts), small home modifications including ramp and lift installation and other adaptive equipment. Applications and estimates for wheel chairs must be from a vendor local to the applicant.
We can not accept internet quotes. Grants are disbursed directly to suppliers of the desired equipment or modifications. Individuals making the grant application are required to submit estimates from potential suppliers.
Grants are given out based on medical necessity and need first. Please complete all sections of the application; incomplete applications will not be considered. The Bryon Riesch Paralysis Foundation’s (BRPF) mission is to find a cure for paralysis through funding the latest in medical research and to provide assistance to those that suffer from spinal cord disorders.
