Through Langur Project Penang, she brings people and wildlife together to reimagine cities as shared homes for nature and community. Ganesh Puri is committed to protecting Nepal’s small wild cats by reducing human–wildlife conflict. From founding the Western Terai Fishing Cat Project in 2020 to advancing community-led solutions, his journey shows how collaboration with communities fosters coexistence.

An unexpected encounter with Campbell’s alligator lizard in 2009 in Guatemala marked the start of Monica Torres’ journey to becoming a conservation biologist. Now on her Booster Grant, we caught up with her to reflect on her experiences since that pivotal moment. Dr Pablo García Borboroglu is one of the world's leading penguin experts.
