Our grant-making is based on a strongly project-oriented vision, aimed at bringing value to people and local communities. We implement our grant-making through calls for proposals, guidelines and other structured selection processes, as well as speculative applications.
One of the key requirements for selection is the applicant body’s project capacity . We often continue to support projects so that they can grow and mature into replicable models that can be transferred to other places. In some cases, the Foundation itself develops and implements specific projects , in line with the work of the individual missions, or in way that cuts across those missions.
These provide opportunities to translate FCSP’s experience and prescience into effective solutions for local communities and sources of inspiration for other bodies , with a view to laying the foundations for sharing and the exchange of models and best practices.
