Grants for Supportive Housing (Guru Krupa Foundation) is sponsored by Guru Krupa Foundation. The Guru Krupa Foundation provides grants to nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations offering social welfare, basic needs, or supportive housing and shelter services.

Guru Krupa Foundation Inc The Guru Krupa Foundation Inc funds a limited number of projects every year. We are always looking for new and worthy causes to support. Grants are limited to tax-exempt organizations, not individuals.

Proposals are evaluated based on their fit with the Foundation's Programs must run in India or the US. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. On average, the review process takes approximately 2-3 months.

The Foundation prefers specfic projects that have measurable deliverables (rather than generic funding) and prefers organizations that follow stringent accounting practices. Our preference is for funds to go directly towards the program being funded, rather than towards admininstrative costs.

If you have any questions about whether your organization is eligible for funding, please email us at Guru Krupa Foundation Inc will not consider requests from: organizations that have a political, legislative, or lobbying agenda individuals or for debt reduction, no matter how worthy organizations for projects outside of India or the US that do not have tax-exempt status or are not classified as a Public Charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the US Internal Revenue Service Code that do not regularly file IRS Form 990 that do not have 80G certification (public charity) that do not have FCRA clearance (permisssion to receive money from outside India) that do not provide at least 3 years of audited financials (including annual FC-3/4 filings) form to apply for funding.

We will not accept applications that do not use this form. In addition, we require the following documentation with each application.

Once all steps have been completed, the organization will be contacted with a decision. Please note that site visits have been put on hold due to COVID-19. Once a grant has been approved, we require that each Grantee submit a progress and a final report.
