Grants In Support | 011402 This budget provides funding for the County of Inyo's Grants-In-Support (GIS) Program.
Under the direction of the Board of Supervisors, the GIS Program recognizes that social, cultural, recreational, and performing arts organizations, as well as area services agencies, make significant contributions to the overall quality of life in Inyo County and seeks to provide funding to assist in supporting their missions. The GIS Program resides in the County's General Fund.
Continue to examine the program and refine program guidelines as needed. Prepare and administer GIS agreements with the County's long-term GIS partners at the funding levels approved by the Board of Supervisors. Developed and received Board of Supervisors approval for GIS Program Guidelines, which had been absent in any kind of formal format.

Whitney Fish Hatchery, Inyo Council for the Arts, Southern Inyo Fire Protection District, and Wild Iris Family Services.
