Call for Applications: Subspace Foundation Grants Program for AI3. 0 Innovation - Global South Opportunities The Subspace Foundation has established a forward-looking grants programme aimed at accelerating the growth of decentralized artificial intelligence (deAI) within the Autonomys Network.
This initiative is designed to empower developers, researchers, and entrepreneurs to build next-generation AI-powered decentralized applications, commonly referred to as AI3. 0 or “super dApps. ” Up to 10% of the total $AI3 token supply is allocated to ecosystem development, ensuring sustained investment in innovation, infrastructure, and community growth.
Mission and Strategic Vision The programme’s mission is to support, enhance, and scale decentralized AI by enabling the creation of intelligent, secure, and interoperable systems. It focuses on empowering innovators to design solutions that combine blockchain infrastructure with advanced AI capabilities. The broader vision is to drive the evolution of AI3.
0 by fostering a decentralized ecosystem where intelligence, data, and computation are distributed rather than centralized.
The grants programme is guided by five strategic objectives: Foster Innovation in Decentralized AI Support groundbreaking projects that unlock new use cases for AI within decentralized systems Enable Scalable Infrastructure Invest in technologies that improve storage, compute capacity, and blockchain architecture Lower barriers for developers and researchers by providing tools and funding Encourage Interoperability Support integrations between the Autonomys Network and other blockchain or AI ecosystems Enhance Privacy and Security Advance privacy-preserving technologies and secure AI systems The programme offers targeted funding across five key categories: Development of distributed storage systems for AI data Enhancements to modular blockchain architecture Optimization of compute resources for AI workloads Creation of intelligent decentralized applications AI-driven tools across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and logistics Autonomous on-chain agents capable of decision-making Academic and technical research in decentralized AI Exploration of new consensus mechanisms and scalability models Development of privacy-preserving AI and governance frameworks Educational resources, tutorials, and open-source tools Developer bootcamps, workshops, and training programmes Community engagement and ecosystem growth initiatives Interoperability solutions connecting different blockchain ecosystems Development of bridges, SDKs, and plugins Simplification of developer onboarding and integration processes What the Programme Provides The Subspace Foundation offers more than just financial support.
