Grants to AAPI Grassroots Organizations is sponsored by AAPI Civic Engagement Fund. The AAPI Civic Engagement Fund provides grants to AAPI grassroots organizations to increase their capacity and civic engagement. While the focus is primarily on US-based AAPI communities, the mission of empowering marginalized communities aligns with West Papua's goals.

AAPI Civic Engagement Fund We support Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) organizations working to create a thriving, multiracial democracy. We believe that AAPIs are integral to strengthening America’s multiracial democracy and transforming conditions to improve the quality of life for all. We support and accelerate this progression through grantmaking, capacity building, and research.

We provide grants to AAPI grassroots organizations to win for our communities and increase their capacity. We offer training, technical assistance, access to tools, and networking opportunities. We conduct research about AAPI civic participation and public opinion to provide strategic support to our grantees and inform the civic engagement field.

We are one of the largest funders of AAPI civic engagement. Our strategic investments combined with our research and capacity building initiatives have increased the civic participation of AAPI communities across our country.

The Movement Hub provides resources and tools to AAPI communities for and by AAPI organizers and leaders. AAPI Civic Engagement Fund Awards More Than $6 Million to AAPI Groups across the United States Through its grantmaking approach, AAPI Civic Engagement Fund continues to fund a network of organizations that are increasing the participation of AAPIs throughout the country.
