Small Business Grant Program - Hiring Our Heroes Veterans & Military Spouses Small Business Grant Program Hiring Our Heroes’ Small Business Grant Program will award five small businesses owned by veterans and/or military spouses with a one-time $10,000 or $25,000 grant to grow and support their businesses.
Let us help you achieve your dream Hiring Our Heroes’ Small Business Grant Program will honor the achievements of veteran- and military spouse-owned small businesses, highlighting their impact and contributions to local communities and America’s economic growth.
The program will award five such businesses with a one-time cash grant to be used to grow and support their business–four businesses will receive a $10,000 grant, and one business will receive a $25,000 grant. This program was made possible through the generosity of the FedEx Founder’s Fund, part of the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. Award program applications must be submitted by December 15, 2025.
See complete rules for full eligibility details. Applicants must be a legal resident of and currently reside in the contiguous 48 states, Alaska and/or Hawaii. Eligible small businesses must be a for-profit business owned by a veteran or military spouse (at least 51% or more ownership) with 3 to 20 employees including the owner(s), all full or part-time employees, and independent (1099) contractors.
Eligible small businesses cannot exceed more than $5 million in annual revenue and must be located in an economically vulnerable community or can otherwise demonstrate financial need. 2026 Small Business Award Winners Discover how these entrepreneurs built their businesses and how they’re using their awards to grow and strengthen them.
