Priority is given to proposals targeting youth initiatives, schools, diversity and inclusion, and innovative programming with measurable outcomes.

com for assistance. Growing Tennis Together Grant The 2026 Growing Tennis Together grant is available to current non-profit USTA member organizations. (Examples include community tennis associations, NJTL chapters, community-based organizations and municipalities such as parks and recreation departments.)

The eligible organization will submit an application based on the need to increase tennis participation. Priority will be given to grant proposals which target youth initiatives as well as diversity and inclusion and innovative programming within parks and recreation departments and school partnerships.

Eligibility and Requirements Applicants should note when applying for the Growing Tennis Together Eastern Support Grant: The grant will be considered for funding based on contributing to the following: Youth Tennis competitive initiatives by having a Junior Team Tennis program, Team Competition, EDC camps, Team Challenges and/or Youth Tennis Leagues Recreation programs for youth and adults in the parks and recreation space Tennis on Campus or Collegiate support Adult Leagues and initiatives by having USTA Adult Leagues, Social Leagues, Young Adult Leagues, and Flexible Leagues, Team Up events, etc. Community Tennis Association (CTA) and National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) Diversity and Inclusion initiatives that include the above measurable programming.

High school tennis initiatives Grant funds may not be used for prize money, membership, any and all fees associated with transportation such as renting a bus, or individual scholarships. Grant funds may be used for equipment costs, court time, coaches or instructor fees, promotional items for the program/event, protection items such as cleaning supplies. All applicants MUST be Safe Play approved.

USTA Eastern reserves the right to fully fund, partially fund or not fund grant requests based on funding criteria, the amount of funding available, the quality of funding requests received, etc. Applications Due: The deadline to submit an application for the 2026 Growing Tennis Together grant has now passed.

Award Notifications: Early May (subject to change) USTA Eastern supports facilities that need support for tennis court repair, tennis court maintenance, tennis court blended lines and/or tennis court resurfacing to help facilitate various programming such as (but not exclusive of): School and After School Programming Adult Competitive/Social Play Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives Community Tennis Associations (CTA) & National Junior Tennis and Learning (NJTL) Chapters Adaptive/Wheelchair Tennis To apply, please contact a USTA Eastern Community Tennis staff member below.

Priority will be given to grant proposals which target youth initiatives, schools, diversity and inclusion and innovative programming with measurable outcomes.

The School Youth Tennis Initiative (SYTI) Grant is available to schools or organizations to support tennis initiatives outside of physical education classes. Utilize this grant to fund tennis programming related to after school programs, before school programs, intramural programs or during recess at a school, park or public location. The USTA Eastern Diversity & Inclusion Grant is available for adaptive and wheelchair programs.
