The Hamm Foundation exists to cultivate innovation and educational opportunities with a focus on infrastructure and the construction industry. Grant requests can be made for the development, enhancement, or implementation of technical or vocational programs. While no maximum funding amounts are stated, projects will be strictly evaluated and are limited by the Foundation’s resources.
Applications may be made at any time. Applications will be reviewed and decided on within 90 days of submittal. Applications which are not funded may be resubmitted as often as you choose.
Expectations for awarded grants Grant recipients will submit an evaluation/summary report to the Hamm Foundation assessing achievement of the stated objectives. Photos are appreciated. Reports are expected within one calendar year upon receipt of funds.

The Robotics Grant Program is a grant from the Alabama State Department of Education (ALSDE) that funds school-based robotics programs for elementary, middle, and high school students. Awarded through a competitive application process, the program provides up to $3,500 to eligible local education agencies (LEAs) in Alabama. Applicants must be public school systems submitting on behalf of schools with K–12 students. The grant supports the purchase of robotics equipment and program development aligned with AMSTI guidelines. Applications are submitted online through the AMSTI Robotics Grant portal.
