Colorado Funding Sources for Mobility Solutions | Lifeway Mobility Colorado Funding Sources for Stair Lifts, Ramps, & Other Accessibility Solutions & Modifications We work with a multitude of different funding sources in CO Springs, Denver, & the state of Colorado for stair lifts, ramps and other accessibility solutions & modifications and we would like to share some of those organizations and options with you.
These funding sources want families to remain safe and independent in their homes, so they will do what they can to help you make your home accessible by removing barriers. Specific details can only be obtained by contacting the individual organization directly. All you need to do is ask!
Tips for Getting Started: Get estimates from 2-3 contractors for the work you’d like done. Fill out an application for funding and attach supporting documentation: Estimates, a letter explaining the need and circumstances, and photos if possible. Contact the agencies below and ask if there is funding available.
The contractor will be selected and notified in writing of approved funding. The project is scheduled, work can begin or installs are scheduled/completed. Carl Edward Foundation Grant Program The Carl Edward Foundation exists to close the gap between what individuals living with spinal cord injuries or progressive neurological diseases need and what insurance and systems often fail to provide.
Their goal is to award $1,000 grants to help individuals and their families offset the cost of home mobility equipment and modifications, fall prevention devices, and any other solutions or caregiver support that insurance does not cover.
