Owner-Occupied Grant Program Housing Programs & Assistance Owner Occupied Housing Grant Program Owner-Occupied Grant Program OWNER-OCCUPIED HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM - GRANT The City offers grant assistance to eligible low-income homeowners (up to 80% Area Median Income) who need critical health and safety repairs.
Grants are available to senior homeowners (62+) and handicapped/disabled homeowners who own and occupy a single-family residence in Rosemead.
Eligible grant-funded repairs may include: Roof repair or replacement Water line or plumbing repairs Sewer line repair or replacement Non-working air conditioning (summer) Non-working heating systems (winter) Code-deficient or unsafe conditions approved by the City The program provides up to $20,000 per dwelling.
