Harmony in Diversity Fund 2026 is sponsored by AVPN in partnership with Temasek Foundation, Silent Foundation, and Nagulendran Philanthropy Alliance. This multi-year grant initiative supports community-based organizations working to promote social cohesion and harmony across Southeast Asia. It focuses on empowering grassroots and community-driven solutions that address social fragmentation and promote long-term harmony.

To be eligible for consideration, your organisation should meet the following criteria: Legally registered non-profit or social enterprise implementing harmony initiatives in Southeast Asia Must be able to provide 2 recent years of audited financial reports Should NOT be the following: Politically-affiliated organisations Included in the US or EU sanctions list, nor blacklisted by any UN or international agency Have early-stage innovation or ready-to-scale initiatives in one or more of the following areas: Promoting intercultural understanding Strengthening connections and collaboration across diverse communities Building community capacity to implement harmony initiatives Developing innovative and creative approaches to advance Harmony in Diversity Community organisations across Asia are already doing the work to strengthen social cohesion, often with limited resources.

Through the Harmony in Diversity Fund, Temasek Foundation partners with Silent Foundation, Nagulendran Philanthropy Alliance and AVPN to activate and advance a movement and strengthen these efforts. By pooling expertise and resources with like-minded partners, we can reach further and sustain impact over the long term.

The Harmony in Diversity Fund focused on supporting and amplifying the work of community-based organisations who are working on harmony initiatives across Asia.

The harmony initiatives covered under this Fund include activities/projects/programmes that: Promote intercultural understanding Strengthen connections and collaboration across diverse communities Build community capacity to implement harmony initiatives Develop innovative and creative approaches to advance harmony in diversity What types of support does the Fund provide? Successful applicants will receive funding support.

How are organisations selected to receive support from the Fund? Organisations are selected through an open call process. The selection is based on various criteria, including the organisation’s problem-solution fit, the impact of the organisation’s proposed initiatives, and their ability to effectively utilise the resources provided by the Fund.

Is this a multi-year funding opportunity? This Fund will be supporting multi-year funding, over a funding period of approximately 2 years by September 2028 . Organisational Eligibility Are social enterprises eligible to apply?

Yes, this Fund is open to both non-profit and social enterprises. Are international non-governmental organisations eligible to apply? If your organisation is a registered non-profit organisation in your market of operation, then you will be eligible to apply.

If you have multiple registered legal entities, please list one that is most relevant to the region that this Fund covers (Southeast Asia). You should also ensure that the organisation listed meets the application eligibility. How many grantees will be awarded through the Fund?

The number of grantees awarded will depend on the number and quality of applications received. What is the geographic scope eligibility for this Fund? Organisations implementing harmony initiatives in Southeast Asia are eligible to apply.

How much funding can I apply for? We encourage applicants to apply for a grant amount between USD 50,000 to USD 200,000, but funding awarded will depend on the application submitted and each organisation’s predicted outcomes and goals. Who evaluates the applications?

Applications are evaluated by a committee based on the criteria that have been shared. How will submissions be assessed? During the assessment stage we will be looking at the organisation’s eligibility and alignment to the key criteria and impact areas that have been outlined.

More specifically, the application form requires you to provide information about your organisation and your solution across the following criteria: Organisation’s Track Record Organisation’s Financial Stability & Sustainability Solution Sustainability, Feasibility, and Scalability Following the initial assessment, top-scoring applicants may be requested to provide additional information for due diligence checks.

How will I learn about updates for the Fund? Applicants can expect to hear status updates about the Fund via email. Updates will be sent to the email associated with the applicant account through which the application was submitted.

How detailed should the project description be when we fill in the application form? Each section of the form has a word count limitation. It is up to your discretion to provide as much relevant information about the project, within the word count.

Can we apply as a coalition with one lead partner? If yes, can the lead partner put in more than one application with different partners? Joint applications are allowed, but there must be one lead applicant submitting the application.

How can we send documents and attachments? You will be able to upload all necessary documents through Good Grants , our online application portal. What happens when I opt-in and agree to have my organisational and personal information used for marketing and publicity purposes?
