Our Grants – Harold Simmons Foundation Grants are made by the Harold Simmons Foundation with the goal of improving lives and enriching the community. We focus our support on Dallas area nonprofit organizations . Areas of interest include: education; health care, social welfare, civic improvement; and culture & the arts.
We make grants for operating expenses, capital needs and special projects, generally in amounts ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 for first time applicants. In 2025 the Foundation distributed approximately $6. 9 million dollars.
