BakerRipley has partnered with Harris County to provide ARPA-funded business coaching to Harris County small businesses with the opportunity to apply for a grant at the end! BakerRipley, in partnership with Harris County, presents the Harris Hub Program, offering free technical assistance to small businesses. We provide expert coaching in marketing, finance, hiring, and business growth.
Eligible businesses completing 15 hours of support may qualify for a $5,000 grant. Our goal is to empower local entrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to thrive. Secure funding and guidance for your business—applications are accepted on an ongoing basis!
Applicant’s business must be: A small business with 25 or fewer employees, including owners. Recognized in Texas and registered with the Texas State Comptroller. Applicant must own 20% or more of the business.
Located within Harris County. Operating at the time of COVID-19 onset, January 27, 2020. Not a non-profit, a gambling, speculative real estate investment, or a sexually oriented business.
Located in a Qualified Census Tract, or experienced a negative impact from COVID-19. Applicant business owner’s personal net income must not exceed $1. 32 million annually.
Personal and/or business property taxes are up to date or in a current payment plan if applicable.
