Civilian Job Search, Veterans Employment & Training Services | TalentGro APPRENTICESHIP GRANTS, FUNDS AND OTHER RESOURCES As an Intermediary Services provider, TalentGro can identify available grant funds and resources to create and manage apprenticeship programs for employers. We have several grants that can offset some of the associated program costs at both the federal and state level.

DoL Grant (Healthcare Apprenticeship Expansion Program) TalentGro, the Workforce Development Division of Hamilton-Ryker, and Argentum, a national trade association serving companies that own, operate and support professionally managed senior living communities, assembled a consortium of healthcare providers to apply for the “Apprenticeships: Closing the Skills Gaps” US DOL Federal Grant.
In collaboration with additional employers and educators, our proposed program was awarded nearly $6M in grant funds. The Healthcare Apprenticeship Expansion Program (HAEP) has committed to expanding nine existing healthcare apprenticeship paths; and launching at least two new programs in: Cyber Security/Healthcare IT For more information on this grant, click on the icon above to download our HAEP Information Sheet for employers.

DoD Grant (MEEP) Scholarships TalentGro has partnered with Tooling U-SME on a new Department of Defense workforce and education grant to support the Manufacturing Engineering Education Program. The purpose of the grant is to promote manufacturing technologies and develop a skilled workforce.
TalentGro will focus on workforce training and development for civilian and veteran talent. Through the grant, veterans, separating/retiring military, women, youth and others will be placed into careers in manufacturing. The grant is aimed at all types and sizes of manufacturing organizations in sectors such as Defense, Aerospace, Automotive, Medical Devices and more.

The goal of the program is to encourage and assist businesses in establishing apprenticeships and educating individuals about pursuing careers through apprenticeships.
In Kansas, the Department of Commerce, as the state’s apprenticeship agency, has received funds from the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration to establish the Kansas Registered Apprenticeship State Expansion, Equity and Inclusion (SAEEI) grant project.
The purpose of this grant is to catalyze or build upon existing strategies to expand and diversify Registered Apprenticeship opportunities in Kansas using an innovative intermediary model. The goal is to increase the number and diversity of Registered Apprenticeship employers/sponsors and programs, as well as the number of Apprentices in the state.
