The Healthy Kids Initiative builds on our history of deep investment in children’s health through an integrated approach designed to maximize our impact on children, youth, and families in Michigan.
Healthy Kids reflects our belief that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up healthy. The program supports community-driven solutions that improve health from before birth through young adulthood in all the settings that shape children’s well-being.
We prioritize projects across the state with potential to strengthen health supports for children, their families, and other people who care for them, while informing policy, influencing systems, or offering models that others can implement, grow, and adapt.

NCI Continuing Umbrella of Research Experiences (CURE) Academic Career Excellence (ACE) Award (K32) is a grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) that funds early postdoctoral fellows from diverse backgrounds, including underrepresented groups, to pursue research training in cancer-related fields.
