Gifts to these funds help advance community leadership, grantmaking, scholarships, nonprofit support, and initiatives that strengthen northeast Indiana. Whether you are supporting unrestricted community impact, women and girls, scholarships, or other Foundation-led priorities, your gift helps build a stronger community for all.

## Funds Hosted by the Community Foundation In addition to the Foundation's funds, the Community Foundation stewards hundreds of charitable funds established by donors, nonprofit organizations, families, and community partners. _ ## Understanding Processing Fees When making an online donation, standard credit card processing fees (2. 9%) charged by financial institutions are deducted from your gift before it reaches the fund. Donors may choose to add an additional amount to help offset these fees.

The Community Foundation also accepts gifts through checks, stock transfers, IRA distributions, cryptocurrency, and other giving methods. Vision Fund We truly thrive when all our neighbors experience greater well-being and quality of life. The Let’s Rise! Vision Fund allows us to make an immediate impact in the Community Foundation’s five pillars of well-being: Connected Community, Inspiring Places, Everyone’s Economy, Lifelong Learning, and Healthy Mind & Body.

Support for this fund allows us to research and identify the root causes of inequities that exist locally, and to invest in long-term solutions that create a stronger community for all.

## Organizational Excellence Fund The Community Foundation helps people make their charitable giving more impactful, connects funding to effective nonprofits through grantmaking, and provides leadership to address community needs and improve quality of life. Your support makes this work possible—creating change for issues that impact our community the most.

The Community Impact Fund supports our Rising Together grant program, helping hundreds of local nonprofits make an impact in our community. Grants from this fund reflect our community’s everchanging people, needs, ideas, and issues.

Rising Together grants help a wide range of nonprofits and charitable organizations across our community, such as soup kitchens and food banks, transitional housing facilities, after-school programs for underserved kids, case management providers for families in need, emergency housing organizations, organizations serving people with disabilities, and countless other entities working daily to instill hope in our neighbors.

## Community Scholarship Fund The Community Scholarship Fund provides scholarships and financial assistance to qualified students in Allen County. This fund allows Allen County students to achieve their dreams of higher education and sets them on the path to success while helping to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with obtaining a degree.

## Emergency Scholarship Fund The Emergency Scholarship Fund helps students overcome short-term financial emergencies that threaten their ability to remain in school. Thanks to the generosity of a legacy fundholder dedicated to postsecondary education, this fund provides timely support for urgent needs such as food, transportation, housing, and other essential expenses.

The application is intentionally straightforward, with quick review and distribution of funds. The Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne mobilizes resources and establishes research informed priorities to close opportunity gaps for women and girls in Allen County regardless of place, race and identity. We invite people at every economic level to join us in advancing women and girls in Allen County.

**Corrinne: $5,000-$10,000** – An annual gift or $417-$833 monthly fosters lasting change through our advocacy efforts around personal safety. **Alice: $1,000-$4,999** – An annual gift or $83-$416 monthly funds educational workshops and advocacy that inspire young girls to dream big and feel seen.

**Margaret Ann: $500-$999** – An annual gift or $43-$82 monthly equips local employers with benefits and policies to increase retention among low-wage, entry-level employees. **Elma: $365** – An annual gift or $30 monthly connects survivors of sexual assault to our online resource, No Matter What, which is a place for safety, healing, and justice.

**Helene: $25-$499** – An annual gift or $10-$42 monthly provides organizations serving young women and girls opportunities to network, share resources, and collaborate for change. As a member, you’ll be invited to first-look access to research, educational and advocacy opportunities as well as join a group of like-minded individuals who believe in investing in our community through women and girls. **Questions?

_** ## Women's Fund Endowment The Luminaries are major donors who boldly invest in systemic change. This giving level recognizes donors who gift $25,000 or more, with the option to fulfill their pledge over five years. These donors are moving what matters for the Women’s Fund’s long-term, strategic work to remove barriers, elevate voices, and build a community where all women and girls can thrive.

Each Luminary gift is split evenly—half supports the Women’s Fund’s ongoing operations, while the other half strengthens the Women’s Fund Endowment. ## Youth Empowered Philanthropy (YEP) YEP is the Community Foundation's first youth pod. YEP teaches students about philanthropy and the impact they can have on their community while exposing them to the nonprofit world.

Gifts made to YEP will supplement the students grantmaking. This allows students the opportunity to make real decisions with real dollars that create real impact in our community.
