Miami-Dade County Summer Food Service Program Miami-Dade County is seeking community partners to provide sites where free meals can be distributed to children and teens participating in the Summer Food Service Program.

This comes at no cost to the partner. Hot and cold meals are prepared upon request using fresh, locally grown foods, with menus that are analyzed for their nutrient content. Nutritious meals will be provided to children aged 18 years and younger, regardless of income, race, color, sex, disability, age or national origin.

These fridges are changing the landscape of food insecurity in Miami, existing in food deserts with a simple message: Take what you need, leave what you can! Each fridge is painted by a local Miami artist, changing the look and feel of a traditional social service.

Simultaneously, these fridges help to combat excess food waste, collecting food that would otherwise go bad via our partnerships with Food Rescue US, Farm Share, and Good Samaritan Meals. Caregiver Teleconnection Sessions Funding & In-Kind Resources Home Depot Foundation’s Path to Pro Education Grants The Home Depot Foundation’s Path to Pro Education Grants program awards grants to accredited nonprofit organizations K-12 programs, and accredited post-secondary institutions (community and technical colleges) focused on construction skilled trades training across the U.S. Grants are awarded at up to $10,000 in Home Depot gift cards to provide tools, products, equipment and new or remodeled training spaces.

The Foundation awards grants to qualifying skilled trades organizations/programs across The United States, with an emphasis on carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and construction management trades. U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of Elementary and Secondary Education (OESE) Promise Neighborhoods The purpose of this program is to improve the academic and developmental outcomes of children and youth living in the most distressed communities of the United States, including ensuring school readiness, high school graduation, and access to a community-based continuum of high-quality services.

Eligibility is limited to an institution of higher education (IHE), as defined in section 102 of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA); an Indian Tribe or Tribal organization, as defined in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act; or one or more nonprofit entities working in formal partnership with not less than one of the following entities: a high-need local educational agency (LEA); an IHE, as defined in section 102 of the HEA; the office of a chief elected official of a unit of local government; an Indian Tribe or Tribal organization, as defined under section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act.

For more information, click here . Game on-Community Places to Play Initiative Grants Game On-Community Places to Play is an initiative of The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation and LISC. The initiative provides funding and technical assistance to community-rooted organizations working to create and renovate multi-use youth sport spaces in under-resourced communities across the country.

The goal is to improve the quality, safety, and accessibility of local athletic spaces for young people. Grant awards will range from $50,000-$100,000 and will require 1:1 match funding.

Funds will be awarded to outdoor and indoor facilities that enable and demonstrate local community access and usage for all organized youth sports, including but not limited to basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, football, tennis, lacrosse, and volleyball. Non-profit community-based organizations leading renovation projects in low-to-moderate income communities across the United States are eligible to apply.

This includes schools and local parks and recreation departments that are collaborating with local non-profits. Universities and college campuses are not eligible for this initiative. Interested organizations should carefully review the Request for Proposals, which outlines eligibility and selection criteria.

McDonald’s Golden Grants Available for Youth Organizations Deadline Date: Friday, 10/9/2026 by 11:59 PM McDonald’s Golden Grants is awarding grants to organizations dedicated to fueling imagination, learning, and growth in local youth, ages 5-18. Programs include mentorship, education, after-school programs, community service, sports, arts, and technology.

McDonald’s South Florida Operators Association (SFOA) has contributed $132,000 to organizations across the region since 2022. Grants awarded in 2026 will be in amounts of $2,500, $5,000, and $10,000 per organization. Organizations should apply only once and will be notified by email in November if they are selected.

Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs Summer Arts & Science Camps for Kids (SAS-C) Grants Program Deadline Date: 11/13/2026 The purpose of this program is to provide support to nonprofit organizations to provide underserved children in Miami-Dade County with opportunities to attend high quality cultural arts and science summer camp programs at little or no cost.

Bob Woodruff Foundation Grants for Organizations Deadline Date: Friday, 1/1/2027 The purpose of this program is to support programs that serve the military and veteran community.

The Bob Woodruff Foundation focuses on programs that improve the health and wellbeing of service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers, and that: improve social determinants of health; decrease barriers to physical and mental healthcare; increase access to programming that fosters a healthy lifestyle; and enhance opportunities for veterans to thrive after service.

Eligibility is limited to organizations and programs that provide direct services to the military and veteran population; are administered through a non-profit organization; demonstrate financial responsibility and sustainability and have filed an IRS Form 990EZ or 990 for the past two fiscal years; provide an audited financial statement or a certified financial statement (to include a balance sheet and income statement); and have two years’ worth of gross receipts greater than $50,000.
